Please read the following Website terms of use (“Terms of Use”) before using the Website. By accessing and using the Website, you agree to be bound by all the Terms of Use set forth herein. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, your sole recourse is to leave the Website immediately. A copy of these Terms of Use may be downloaded, saved and printed for your reference.

The Website is owned and operated by Real Ventures. JOB PORTAL

When you apply to a job posted on our job board, your application is submitted directly to the company you are applying to and any third-party service providers used by such company to process your application.

To access Real Ventures’ talent network through the Job Portal, you must register an account and provide certain information about yourself as prompted by the registration form. You represent and warrant that all required registration information you submit is truthful, complete, and accurate and that you will maintain the accuracy of such information.

Upon registration, you will choose a password. You alone are responsible for keeping that password confidential, and you are responsible for any and all activity that occurs on the Website using your account credentials. You agree to promptly notify Real Ventures of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of your account. When you provide Real Ventures with such notice, Real Ventures reserves the right to suspend, deactivate, or replace your account to prevent future unauthorized activity.

LINKING

It is our goal to provide increased value to visitors to our Website. Our Website might offer you links to other websites and services that are owned and operated by third parties and therefore not affiliated with us for such purpose. You hereby irrevocably (i) assign all right, title, and interest in and to the Feedback to Real Ventures; and (ii) waive in favour of Real Ventures, its successors and assigns any and all moral rights that you have or may have in the Feedback and agree to provide Real Ventures such assistance as it may require to document, perfect, and maintain Real Ventures’ rights to the Feedback. Please note that LinkedIn, the third party provider of certain account information, Monday Inc., the third party host of our Job Portal, and companies and/or their service providers to whom you submit a job application and related information to, may have additional privacy policies or statements which govern their practices in collecting, storing, using and disclosing your personal information. Real Ventures has no control over the privacy practices of such companies, and consequently cannot be held liable and makes no warranty or representation about the privacy practices of Monday Inc. or of companies with whom you elect to connect with through the Job Portal.

CHANGES AND TERMINATION

Real Ventures reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Further, Real Ventures reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time and to notify you by posting an updated version of the Terms of Use on this Website. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the Terms of Use, including, without limitation, by checking the date of “Last Update” at the bottom of this document. Continued use of the Website after any such changes shall constitute your consent to be bound by such changes, with continued provision of the use of the Website constituting consideration from Real Ventures to you for so being bound. APPLICABLE LAWS AND SEVERABILITY

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and of the laws of Canada applicable therein, and any dispute is to be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in the judicial district of Montreal, Province of Quebec.

If any provision of the present Terms of Use shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then such provision shall be severable from these Terms of Use and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets out the manner in which Real Investment Management Inc. (“Real Ventures”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise manages personal information in connection with the realventures.com website, which includes our Job Portal (defined below) located at the subdomain jobs.realventures.com (the “Website”).

Collection and Use of Personal Information

JOB PORTAL

As part of our hands-on approach to helping our portfolio companies grow, we make a job board and talent network (collectively, the “Job Portal”) available to companies and top talent through the Website. Our Job Portal allows you to explore career opportunities by searching jobs posted on our job board or by connecting with potential employers through our talent network.

Job Board: When you apply to a job posted on our job board, your application is submitted directly to the company you are applying to and any third-party service providers used by such company to process your application. We do not have control over the manner in which such companies and their service providers will treat your personal information.

Talent Network: To access our talent network within the Job Portal, you must complete a profile by: (1) answering certain questions about your job preferences, such as type of roles you are seeking and location, and (2) by writing a brief cover note and a personal biography to potential employers. Although you are not required to answer all of the profile questions, a complete profile will get you the most out of our service.

You will also need to create an account by providing your first and last name, email address, and a password that you select, or by using your LinkedIn account credentials. If you use your LinkedIn account, you authorize us to access certain LinkedIn account information (consistent with your LinkedIn privacy settings), including your name and email address.

You must have a LinkedIn account to create a talent network profile. To complete your profile, you must provide your LinkedIn public profile URL. We do not have control over the manner in which LinkedIn treats your personal information. You can review LinkedIn’s User Agreement and Privacy Policy, which apply to your LinkedIn account.

Once your profile is complete, we receive a notice as the administrator of the talent network to review it. If your experience, preferences and general profile fit what our portfolio companies are looking for, you will be added to our network. You can choose to set your profile to public to allow all potential employers to view your profile in search results and contact you about opportunities, or private, in which case your profile is only revealed to potential employers if you have requested an introduction. Potential employers may use your profile information and other information you provide to them to contact you about opportunities (in accordance with your choices) and to process and respond to you about current and future job opportunities.

CAREERS AT REAL VENTURES

In connection with a job application or related inquiry, including when you join our talent network, you may provide us with certain personal information about yourself (such as that contained in a resume, cover letter, your talent network profile, or similar employment-related materials). We use this information for the purpose of processing and responding to your application for current and future career opportunities.

COMMUNICATIONS

We may use your personal information to contact you and facilitate email communications between you and potential employers. We may also send you email communications about our services including requests for potential employer introductions, suggested jobs available on the job board, and security or other service-related issues.

When you contact us to arrange a meeting, to discuss an opportunity to partner with us, or otherwise with an inquiry, comment, question, or complaint, you provide us with your name and email address along with additional information you include in your message to us. We collect and use this information to promptly answer your question or respond to your request. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR WEBSITE

Visiting our Website

You can visit the Website without telling us who you are or submitting any personal information. However, we and our service providers (such as Google Analytics) collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to our Website and other related information such as page requests, browser type, operating system, and average time spent on our Website. If you access and use our Job Portal, we may receive certain aggregate information that does not identify any individual user from Monday, our third party Job Portal provider, such as job and company clicks and email open rates. We use this information to help us understand our Website activity and to monitor and improve our Website. Cookies

Our Website uses a technology called “cookies”. A cookie is a tiny element of data that our Website sends to your browser, which may then be stored on your hard drive so that we can recognize you when you return. We use cookies to improve our Website and to help us understand our Website activity and your preferences.
