ROLE OVERVIEW

FounderFuel is a startup accelerator, powered by Real Ventures in collaboration this year with Panache Ventures and Inovia Capital. The program will run from April 17 to July 28, 2023. 

We are looking for a motivated, curious, and energetic program intern to support operations for FounderFuel. As FounderFuel’s Program Intern, you will report to the Real Ventures’ Director of Marketing & People and you will assist the larger Real Ventures team to support the delivery of all aspects of the program execution. The role offers a unique opportunity to discover and contribute to Canada’s exciting innovation ecosystem.  

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Help execute FounderFuel programming 
  • Support daily program operations, including
    • Coordinate schedules
    • Prep workshop materials
    • Help organize events small to mid-sized events
    • Help organize Demo Day
    • Help manage sponsor, mentors, and community supporter relationships
    • Support program participants with the creation of visual presentation assets (presentation decks, logos, images, etc.)
    • Handle ad hoc requests from program participants throughout the program
    • Other related program tasks
  • Build relationships with each participating company and support their needs 
  • Organize team building activities
  • Act as an ambassador of FounderFuel and Real Ventures within the community

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree related to innovation, entrepreneurship, or VC investing.
  • Fully bilingual in English and French (native fluency in speaking and writing)
  • Able to work effectively with digital tools and platforms (Zoom, Google Suite, Asana)
  • Familiarity with graphic design platforms (Google slides, Photoshop, Canva, Keynotes)
  • Attentive to detail, proactive, and ability to consistently output high-quality work
  • Driven by curiosity, energized when meeting new people
  • Able to handle a fast-paced environment et deliver on short deadlines
  • Passionate about technology and the power of entrepreneurship to shape the future 
  • Experience with event management a plus
