Thibaud, or Thib, is a well-rounded Frenchman who loves how technology is augmenting our lives. He is working on platform for our portfolio. Thib joined the team to run the FounderFuel accelerator in 2016, helping founders go to market and raise seed capital. Prior to that, Thib created and led the McGill X-1 Accelerator to turn academic research into market-ready products. The project came from the time he spent at the Dobson Centre working with startups to help build a McGill-wide tech ecosystem for engineers, scientists and young founders. A few months earlier, he was on the other side of the table, building an edtech platform at the MIT Global Founders’ Skills Accelerator in Boston. Today, in his spare time Thibaud is taking part in Techaide, a project to get the tech community to give to charities. Random fact, Thib doesn’t like taking the metro but loves riding his bike, even during cold winters here in Montreal. You can find him scrolling on Reddit or swimming, biking and running on early mornings. Thibaud holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems from McGill University and was initially created and raised in a sunny city in the south of France, Nice.
