We are very pleased to announce our latest investment: Unbounce. If you market online (and who doesn’t?), chances are you’ve heard of them. Unbounce has built the leading SaaS platform for creating, publishing and optimizing landing pages.
We are joined in this deal by an unbelievable group of investors including Chris DeVore & Seattle based Founder Co-Op, Fred Destin & Boston based Atlas Ventures, Howard Lindzon & Social Leverage, Dave McClure & 500Startups, Christoph Janz & Point Nine Capital, as well as angel investors Boris Wertz, Mike Edwards, Rapleaf CEO Auren Hoffman, & Articulate CEO Adam Schwartz.
So, why did we do this? As with all our investments it was primarily about the team. The co-founders have all worked together in the past and between the six of them (yep – 6 co-founders!) they cover all the bases needed to make this company fly.
Beyond that, Unbounce has the clear opportunity to own its category and be the #1 player in a growing market.
